Parallel sessions

The IFMS included 38 parallel sessions spread over two days. Apart from panels proposed by the eight IFMS partner organisations, parallel sessions incorporated submissions received in response to the IFMS call for papers. The IFMS Programme Committee reviewed over 100 such submissions, and the final programme included 14 submitted parallel sessions and 10 parallel sessions comprising submitted papers. Topics of parallel sessions ranged from methodological issues in migration statistics such as sampling, data innovation and combination, big data, migration and the environment, migrant integration, and migration in the context of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
