Regulatory policy in Latin America and the Caribbean

As part of the broader effort to strengthen the OECD’s activities with the Latin American and the Caribbean (LAC) region, the OECD Regulatory Policy Committee is currently engaged in a number of projects/activities in the region both at the country and the regional level. These include, inter alia, a joint initiative by the OECD and Inter-American Development Bank to embark in the creation of the Latin American and the Caribbean Network on Regulatory Improvement. The Network offers a forum for countries in the region and OECD countries to exchange good/best practices and lessons learned on how to make regulations support growth, innovation, and the achievement of social objectives.
