    OECD Secretary-General in Heidelberg (Monday 1st July 2013)

    Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Heidelberg on Monday 1st July 213, to attend the “Tidewater 2013” event. The Secretary-General will attend the discussions on “Modernising Development Finance” and on “Climate Financing”.

    Secretary-General’s participation to G8 Summit’s Working Lunch (Northern Ireland, 18th June 2013)

    Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, attended the Working Lunch of the G8 Summit and delivered the OECD report “A Step Change in Tax Transparency - Delivering a standardised, secure and cost effective model of bilateral automatic exchange for the multilateral context” and remarks on Trade, Tax, Transparency which are the key priorities of the UK G8 Presidency for the Summit.

    Secretary-General’s visit to China and launch of the Global Agriculture Outlook 2013 (Beijing, 5th - 6th June 2013)

    The OECD Secretary-General, alongside FAO Director General, was in Beijing on 5th and 6th June 2013 to present the “OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook 2013-2022”, at the Opening Ceremony of the 2013 World Agriculture Outlook Conference, held for the first time in China. Mr. Gurría also attended the 4th Global Forum of Leaders for Agriculture Science and Technology.

    Secretary-General at the International Transport Forum Annual Summit (Leipzig, 22nd May 2013)

    At the Summit, Mr. Gurría will deliver remarks and participate in a Ministers’ Roundtable on "Attracting New Sources of Private Finance to Transport Infrastructure". He will also present an OECD Transport Working Paper: “Mobilising Private Investment in Sustainable Transport: the Case of Land-Based Passenger Transport Infrastructure”.

    Secretary-General’s visit to Italy (Rome, Thursday 2nd May 2013)

    The OECD Secretary-General will be in Rome on Thursday 2nd May to present the 2013 OECD Economic Survey of Italy with Fabrizio Saccomanni, Minister of Economy and Finance. Mr. Angel Gurría will also meet with several high level officials, including Mr. Letta and Mr. Enrico Giovannini, Minister for Labour and Social Policy.

    Le premier vice-Premier ministre de la Fédération de Russie, Igor Shuvalov, a effectué aujourd’hui une visite à l’OCDE. Il s’est notamment adressé au Conseil de l’OCDE et s’est entretenu, pendant deux heures, avec les Ambassadeurs des pays membres au sujet de l’adhésion en cours de la Russie à l’Organisation.

    Secretary General’s Official visit to Japan (Tokyo, 22nd - 24th April 2013)

    OECD Secretary-General will visit Japan on 22-24 April to launch the Economic Survey of Japan. During his stay in Tokyo, Mr. Gurría will also meet government officials and representatives from the business and labour communities amongst others.

    Official visit of the Slovakian Prime Minister (11th April 2013)

    H.E. Róbert Fico, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, visited the OECD on 11th April to address the OECD Council and to hold a Lunch Seminar on Slovakia’s reform agenda with the Secretary-General, Mr. Angel Gurría, and OECD experts.
