Workshop on Enforcement Challenges in Digital Markets

07 March 2024  OECD Conference Centre, Paris

This one-day workshop for representatives of competition authorities focused on the enforcement challenges encountered by agencies throughout OECD jurisdictions in digital market cases. Participants gained valuable insights into the latest enforcement cases in the digital market, with a specific focus on the unique challenges it presents. The workshop explored how agencies successfully navigated and resolved these challenges and discuss whether similar concerns are shared by other agencies and if comparable solutions could be applied, in particular:

  1. Relevant markets (Multisided platforms and Ecosystems)
  2. Exploitative abuses in the form of unfair trading conditions
  3. Remedies and commitments in abuse of dominance cases in digital markets
