15/11/2013 - The OECD’s latest Economic Survey of Switzerland, to be published on Thursday 21 November 2013, assesses the country’s strong recent performance, its short-term outlook and the policy challenges it faces in the longer term. The Survey also looks at what Switzerland can do to meet environmental targets while maintaining energy security, to boost productivity and to better integrate women into the workforce.

 

The Survey will be available to registered journalists on the OECD's password-protected website at 10:00 a.m. local time for immediate release.

 

An Overview with the main conclusions will be freely accessible in pdf format on the OECD’s web site at www.oecd.org/eco/surveys/switzerland-2013.htm. You are invited to include this Internet link in reports on the Survey.

 

Peter Jarrett, head of division in the OECD country studies branch covering Switzerland, senior economist Petar Vujanovic and economist Richard Dutu will present the Survey during a news conference with Eric Scheidegger, deputy director of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, on 21 November, from 10:00 a.m. local time. The event will take place at the Media Centre, Bundesgasse, 8-12, Bern.
