Rafał Kierzenkowski is a Senior Advisor to the Secretary-General and the Coordinator of the OSG Better Policies Series.

In this role, he supports the Chief and Deputy Chief of Staff in the planning and preparation of the “Better Policies Series”, designed to provide timely and targeted policy advice to Heads of State and Minsters and to support them in making reform happen.

Prior to this, Rafal worked as Head of the United Kingdom/Netherlands desk and Deputy Head of Division in the Economics Department. Since joining the Organisation in 2007, he has also worked on different research projects and contributed to the economic surveillance of France, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Tunisia. Before his experience at the OECD, he worked at the Banque de France and was assistant Professor at the University of Montpellier. 

Rafal a Polish national, holds a PhD in Economics, which he received from Paris Dauphine University in 2004.
