Virtual Workshop on Gender Budgeting and the COVID-19 Crisis
As governments formulate further budget responses to support economic recovery following the COVID-19 crisis, it is important not to overlook their gender impact and consequences for gender equality. The OECD will be holding a virtual workshop on how a gender perspective might be applied during these times. Following lead presentations by Iceland and Canada, Delegates will share their experiences in applying a gender lens to crisis response measures so far and discuss the way forward in this critical area.
