The Innovative Cases strand aimed to:

Identify and analyse concrete examples of innovative learning environments from many different countries and contexts. Eventually over 125 cases will have been brought together in common format from the participating systems and other sources (the “Universe”), with around 40 of these being subject to case study research analysis (the “Inventory”).

In september 2013, we published a report on Innovative Learning Environments which introduces a new framework for understanding these learning environments illustrating it richly with the cases gathered in this strand.
