The case studies conducted for the “Inventory” of Innovative Learning Environments (ILE) defines a holistic picture of the organisation, layout, sequence and mix of learning activities in each environment.
All this addressed four key areas:
A. ILE Aims and History
B. ILE Paterned Features
C. Nature of Learning
D. Impact and Effectiveness
Selected from the pool of Universe cases, a more in-depth analysis was made on particular learning environments that demonstrated to be highly innovative and effective. These case studies constitute what we call the Inventory.
Based on the analysis of these cases a publication will come out in the second half of 2012.
It aims to inform educational policy makers on a more effective learning and to encourage innovative practices of learning.
