DAC global relations

LAC-DAC Dialogue, 29 June 2016, Santiago, Chile

 

The Chilean Agency for International Development Co-operation (AGCID), in collaboration with the Mexican Agency for International Development Co-operation (AMEXCID), and the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) held the first LAC-DAC Dialogue on Development Co-operation in Santiago de Chile on 29 June 2016.

The dialogue facilitated the exchange of experience among the DAC, its members, and the Latin American and Caribbean community (LAC) to identify opportunities for collaboration towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Topics for discussion included:

  • Translating the Sustainable Development Goals into institutional strategies
  • Implementing development co-operation with middle-income countries
  • Promoting Triangular Cooperation and other innovative mechanisms
