THE 2023 OECD GLOBAL FORUM ON COMPETITION OPENS WITH THE TOPIC "FROM GLOBALISATION TO REGIONALISATION" Competition is not a one-size-fits-all concept and can vary significantly across different regions around the world. This session examined whether there is an increasing emphasis on regional competition interests, potentially hampering efforts to the detriment of globalisation. The 2023 OECD Global Forum on Competition explored how competition is evolving and considers the different perspectives about competition in each region. In addition, the session also looked towards the future, discussing the potential impacts of evolving global trends on regional competition dynamics.
