President of Costa Rica visits OECD, 5 November 2013

 

The President of Costa Rica, Mrs. Laura Chinchilla, visited the OECD on
5 November. President Chinchilla met with OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría and addressed a meeting of the members of the OECD Council, where she underlined her country’s growing engagement with the OECD and its interest in sharing best practices on public policies. Coinciding with her visit, President Chinchilla announced Costa Rica’s endorsement of the OECD Youth Action Plan and its adherence to the Council Recommendation on Gender Equality on Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship.
