OECD Economic Survey of Tunisia: Monday 4 April 2022 - Press conference at 10:00 Tunis time

31/03/2022- The OECD will present a new Economic Survey of Tunisia on Monday 4 April 2022. This second OECD Tunisia Survey (the first was published in 2018) examines the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on Tunisia’s economy and society, considers the fall-out from the war in Ukraine, and discusses the policy responses and reforms needed to overcome economic vulnerabilities and raise living standards, particularly in the face of new global economic challenges. A special chapter takes an in-depth look at how Tunisia can improve skills and employment opportunities to overcome job mismatches and lower unemployment.

OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann will connect remotely to present the Survey’s main findings and take questions at a press conference starting at 10:00 local time with Tunisia’s Minister for Economy & Planning Samir Saïed at the Economy and Planning Ministry (Avenue Cheikh Mohamed Fadhel Ben Achour, Immeuble «B4», Tour « A », 1082 Centre Urbain Nord, Tunis).
