OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook 2024 launches on Tuesday 2 July

 

The OECD and FAO will present their joint annual medium-term market projections for major agricultural commodities, biofuels and fish during an online event on Tuesday 2 July 2024, starting at 11:00 CEST (9:00 GMT).


The OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook provides an assessment of the prospects of national, regional and global agricultural commodity markets over the coming decade. The baseline projections for production, consumption, stocks, trade and prices for cereals, oilseeds and oilseed products, roots & tubers, pulses, sugar, meat, dairy products, fish, cotton, biofuels and tropical fruits cover the years 2024 to 2033.


OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and FAO Director General QU Dongyu will present the report starting at 11:00 CEST (9:00 GMT).


Journalists should pre-register to access the virtual event.


The event will be webcast live, with simultaneous interpretation in French.
