Media Advisory - OECD Economic Survey of Switzerland 2022: Thursday 20 January

The OECD will present a new Economic Survey of Switzerland on Thursday 20 January. The Survey examines the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the Swiss economy and assesses the pace of recovery with an in-depth look at the country’s labour market, including how structural changes could strengthen long-term growth. The Survey also looks at Switzerland’s competitive environment and examines how economic developments can be aligned with environmental and climate targets.

OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and OECD Deputy Director for Country Studies Isabell Koske will present the Survey’s key messages and take questions at a virtual press conference on Thursday 20 January at 11:30 CET, with the Swiss Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research Guy Parmelin and State Secretary, SECO-Director and Director of the Foreign Economic Affairs Directorate Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch. The press conference will take place in English and French.
