OECD Economic Survey of Australia 2023 launches Friday 27 October

The OECD will release a new Economic Survey of Australia on Friday 27 October. The Survey examines Australia’s economic performance in the face of global and internal challenges, including high inflation and fiscal pressures on the horizon due to population ageing and climate change. Two special chapters look at policies to reduce gender inequalities and achieve the climate transition.

The Survey will be published at 00:00 AEST (16:00 CEST on 26 October) at the following link, which can be included in news articles: www.oecd.org/economy/australia-economic-snapshot/.

Journalists can request a copy of the Survey under embargo, thereby undertaking to respect the OECD’s embargo procedures, by emailing embargo@oecd.org. Embargoed copies will be sent out a day in advance.

For any other information, journalists are invited to contact Spencer Wilson in the OECD Media Office (+33 1 45 24 81 18). To get advance notification of other OECD reports and events, journalists can complete this short form.
