Is an update of the inventory work conducted in 1997 which had been based on 1993-1995 data which resulted in a general distribution document entitled, "Towards Sustainable Fisheries - Country Reports", and can be downloaded here (PDF)
Serves as direct input to the work on the use of market-like instruments in fisheries management.

The work was part of the OECD Committee for Fisheries 2002-2005 Programme of Work.
