Chile has progressed in several areas to advance towards a circular economy. In the last years, Chile approved laws on extended producer responsibility, banning plastic bags and regulating single-use plastics. Chile recently published the National Strategy for Organic Waste and the Roadmap for a Circular Chile by 2040. These and other initiatives have set the stage for rapid progress towards a circular economy. These efforts benefit from exchanges on international experiences and joint learning with international organisations, such as the OECD. In this context, this workshop investigated:
