Decision of the Council concerning the Control of Transboundary Movements of Wastes Destined for Recovery Operations [C(2001)107/FINAL]

Decides that member countries shall control transboundary movements of wastes destined for recovery operations within the OECD area in accordance with the provisions set out in Chapter II of this Decision and in the appendices to it.

Decides that, for wastes not to be subjected to recovery operations, member countries shall consistent with environmentally sound and efficient management practices insofar as possible dispose in their own territory the wastes produced therein.
