This report presents findings from a survey on green finance conducted among 1 000 households in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2019. Although green finance is an emerging trend, knowledge about the appetite for green financial products and services in Kyrgyzstan is almost inexistent. The OECD supports countries of Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) in developing policies that improve environmental quality and social well-being, while creating opportunities for strong economic growth and decent jobs. This work is carried out under the GREEN Action Task Force which is a unique platform of EECCA countries and development co-operation partners to exchange best practice and experience on key environmental and green growth policies, to upgrade these policies and institutional capacities for environmental management and to promote green investment.
