    Quality Standards for Development Evaluation

    Based on a broad international consultative process, the DAC Quality Standards for Development Evaluation are a reference guide to good practice in development evaluation. With a view to improving the quality of evaluation processes and products, and facilitating collaboration, this reference guide lays out standards for each phase of a typical evaluation process: from defining purpose, to planning, designing, implementing, reporting, and learning from and using evaluation results.

    Joint Evaluations: Recent experiences, lessons learned and options for the future

    This report aims to build understanding of joint evaluations: what we mean by the term, what the benefits and challenges are, and how the benefits can be maximised and the challenges minimised or overcome. The report also puts forward long-term and strategic recommendations on joint evaluations.

    Collaborative Evaluations

    The DAC Network on Development Evaluation promotes joint evaluations as a tool for mutual accountability and learning. In order to enhance transparency and facilitate collaboration, members of the Network have agreed to systematically share future evaluation plans. The Network has served as the coordinating hub for major international joint evaluations, including a possible joint evaluation on COVID-19.
