Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia

Update of the OECD Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (OECD/ACN) 21st Plenary Meeting

25/11/2021 - The OECD Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (OECD/ACN) Plenary held on 26-28 October adopted monitoring reports on Armenia and Ukraine piloting novel performance indicators-based methodology of the Istanbul Anti-Corruption Action Plan 5th round of monitoring.

The adoption of pilot country reports for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova were postponed, as further negotiations of the texts of the report were required to reach the consensus. At the same time, these countries reaffirmed their commitment to the monitoring programme.

Plenary participants, including countries participating in the programme and its donors - EU DG NEAR and US INL - applauded Armenia and Ukraine for their openness to engage with the OECD/ACN to pilot the new methodology. They also encouraged Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova to ensure a swift adoption of their respective reports.

All adopted reports will be published in early 2022.
