Luis Fernández-Revuelta is the Chair of Finance and Accounting at the Universidad de Almería and holds research positions in Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (United Kingdom) and the Handelshogskolan of Göteborg (Sweden). He is the Vice-President of Planning, Quality and Relations with Community from the Universidad de Almería. He has a PhD in Business Administration by the Universidad de Sevilla. He has experience in both master teaching, in company programs, and in international prestigious business schools. He has developed the strategic planning of the Universidad de Almería, internationally awarded by Computerworld Foundation in Washington for its innovation in public entities. He is the elected Spanish representative of the European Accounting Association. He is a reviewer of several journals, and his research has been published in the following journals: Management Accounting Research, Accounting, Business and Financial History, Revista Española de Financiación y Contabilidad, Revista de Contabilidad and Revista Europea de Dirección y Economía de la Empresa.
