Karina Ufert is a masters student of education, policy and society at the Vilnius University and an executive committee member of the European Students' Union. She covers the areas of activity in institutional autonomy and higher education governance (with a focus on strengthening students' participation), mobility, internationalisation of curricula and global affairs. She is a member of the panel of experts on quality assurance of higher education, the Institutional Evaluation Programme (IEP) by European University Association and non-formal education at the European Youth Forum (YFJ).
