Juan Maria González Mejías is Secretary General of Telecommunications and Information Society of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Science of Andalusia. He holds a degree in Law from the University of Seville, Master in Business and Management from the University of Navarra and has completed executive training in the Harvard Kennedy School. He has been Chairman and Managing Director for Investments and Management of Venture Capital Co. (INVERCARIA, SAU), funded by the Andalusian Agency for Innovation and Development. He previously was in charge of the general co-ordination of the Environmental Protection and Cleaning of Seville Agency (LIPASAM). He has had a long career in counselling services, as an economic advisor and chairman of the Andalusian Innovation Observatory, a strategy consultant for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants (Madrid, Spain) and a management analyst in Cirsa Business Corporation (Barcelona, Spain, and Birmingham, United Kingdom).
