Joaquín Luque Rodríguez

 

 

Joaquín Luque Rodríguez  is Rector of the University of Seville, and former Vice -Chancellor for Infrastructures and ICT. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Seville and a specialisation in Science, Technology and Society: a Sociological perspective by the National Long Distance Learning University (UNED). He is Professor in Electronics Technology. He was the main researcher on the Electronic and Informatics Technologies research group, assistant director in Argumentos de la Razón Técnica review (Arguments for a Technical Reason), Research Director in FIDETIA (New Technologies Research and Development in Andalusia Foundation), Convener for the Advisory Group on Information system and telecommunications tutorials from the International Council of Electric Grids (CIGRE) and governing member of other institutions and scientific journals.
