Javier Trueba De La Infiesta is the Director General of CICAP, a food research center in Andalusia specialised in providing innovative research and advanced services on food, agriculture, environment and life science to agribusinesses. In the last ten years, he has been leading projects and undertaken research on food and agriculture at both national and international level, especially in France and in several countries in Africa. He has been the Director of R&D of COVAP which is a dairy co-operative in Andalusia and one of the biggest food producers in Spain. He is an Agriculture Engineer and has completed post-graduate studies (DEA) at the University of Cordoba. He has also studied Management Development at IESE Business School (Spain) and Rural Development at Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Rennes (France).
