Francisco Andrés Triguero Ruiz is Secretary General of Universities in the Regional Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Science of Andalusia. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Granada. He held the chairs in Applied Economics in the University of Seville and in Language and Information Technology in the University of Malaga. He has lead and participated in diverse research projects. He was member of the Andalusian Council of Universities, representing the Andalusian Parliament and the Advisory Council of the Institute for the Promotion of Andalusia. He was also a councillor in the Malaga City Council and has been the General Director of Universities in the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Science and Enterprise of Andalusia.
