Federico Gutiérrez-Solana is the Rector of the University of Cantabria and the President of Spanish Conference of Rectors. He is Professor of Materials Science and Engineering Metallurgy and has been Chairman of the Commission on technical studies of the Spanish University Council and represents Spanish Conference of Rectors at the EUA Council.
