Eugenio Guzman is the Dean of the Faculty of Government at the Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile. He has a degree in Sociology (summa cum laude), a diploma in Statistical Research Methods from the Universidad de Chile and MSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is the Vice-President of the Chilean Society of Public Policy and a member of other scientific foundations. He has participated in different government initiatives including the Presidential Commition on Public Ethic (2004-05) and is a member of the Governmental Council for Strengthening Civil Society. In the area of innovation, he has been invited to participate as a member of the Innovation Group at ICARE. He has taught Public Policies at Universidad de Chile, Universidad Católica and Universidad del Desarrollo.
