Ana Raquel Díaz Vázquez is Deputy Secretary General of Solar Abengoa, a leading Andalusian Company which offers innovative solutions for sustainability in infrastructures, technology and energy development. She holds an Industrial Engineering degree (University of Dresden, Germany) and a PhD in Energy Engineering (University of Pisa, Italy). Her PhD research was undertaken in collaboration with ENEL (Italian Energy Agency). She has conducted research at the University of Madison (Wisconsin, USA) and in the Institute for Energetic Economy Studies and Rational Use of Energies (IER, Stuttgart, Germany). She has co-authored Opportunities and Perspectives on Innovation for the Energy Production Systems and is the author of several technical papers in international journals about energy production systems.
