These reviews of country financial systems are prepared by the OECD Committee on Financial Markets (CMF) as part of the process for accession to the OECD. The financial system of each candidate country is reviewed, including the market and regulatory structure, to assess whether the financial system is market-oriented and sufficiently open, efficient and sound, based on high standards of transparency, confidence and integrity.
