The OECD Water Governance Initiative will hold its 17th meeting on 19-20 September 2022.

Meeting objectives

The OECD Water Governance Initiative (WGI) is an international multi-stakeholder network of 100+ delegates from public, private and not-for-profit sectors gathering twice a year in a Policy Forum to share experience on reforms, projects, lessons and good practices in support of better governance in the water sector. More than 100+ members will gather at the 17^th WGI meeting co-organised by the OECD and the Government of the Netherlands to:

Update delegates on the WGI’s contribution to global agendas ;
Share knowledge and experience on the latest water governance research and policy reforms;
Discuss the 2022-2024 WGI Strategy and Programme of Work;
Contribute to the UN 2023 Water Decade Conference, by implementing good water governance in cities.
