From 2010: Director General of the Office for Equality and Equal Opportunities, strategic interventions and Communication at the Department for Equal Opportunities.

 

The main responsibilities are related to planning, design and management of initiatives on equality and equal opportunities, support women's entrepreneurship, reconciliation, people with disabilities, women and science and institutional communication.

 

She is also responsible for coordinating and monitoring the initiatives regarding the planning and use of European Structural Funds and the resources for underdeveloped areas (FAS) in the field of equal opportunities.

 

From 2008 to 2010: Consultant for institutional communication of the Minister for Equal Opportunities and expert in design of interventions on the issue of gender equality at the Department for Equal Opportunities;

 

From 2002 to 2007: Director of Marketing of GRANDI STAZIONI S.p.A., Company of the Group FERROVIE DELLO STATO (National Railways Company).

 

In 1993 she received a Degree with honors in Modern Literature at the University of Calabria
 
Three-years Master Degree in Social and Political Sciences at the Institute "Brutium" (Foundation Guarascio A., Rende - CS) and Ph.D. in Theory and History of  Philosophic Historiography.

 

Many work experiences as a Teacher, Director of Research and Head of working groups in numerous public and private institutions.
