Marie-Anne Montchamp is State Secretary near the Minister for Solidarities and Social cohesion since November 2010. She has been State Secretary near the Minister for Health and Social protection in charge of disabled people from March 2004 to November 2004 and State Secretary near the Minister for Solidarities, Heath and Family, in charge of disabled people from November 2004 to May 2005. She has been counselor for the President of the Republic on disability issues in 2005 and is president of the foundation Fonda’Mental since November 2007.
