Greece, Andreas Loverdos, Minister of Labour and Social Security

 



Andreas Loverdos was born in Patras in 1956. He has been an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the Panteion University of Athens since 1995.
Writer of 9 books and many articles in scientific reviews, he is also a Supreme Court attorney at law specialised in Public Law and a member of the Bar Association of Athens. He is married and has 3 children.
Member of the Greek Parliament for the Socialist Party (PASOK) since 2000. He served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (2002-2004) and Minister of Labaour and Social Security (2009-2010). He was appointed Minister of Labour and Social Security on 7th September 2010.
