Innovative Solutions for strengthening regional cooperation
on water and energy in Central Asia

Co-organisers                                                                                         Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Scientific-Information Center of Interstate Commission for Water Coordination of Central Asia (SIC ICWC) European Union (EU) This joint workshop facilitated a roundtable discussion on emerging and innovative approaches to enhancing regional cooperation on water and energy management in a changing climate in Central Asia. The session brought together experts from within and outside the region, who shared concrete examples of such innovative solutions that could be applied to the region. Furthermore, opportunities to adopt and scale up these innovations were discussed. Key messages from the workshop can be found in the summary record.

The workshop was held as part of the Conference, Central Asia: Towards sustainable future through strong regional institution hosted by International Fund for saving the Aral Sea (IFAS)
