Expert Seminar: “Anti-Corruption Policy and Integrity Training”, 23-25 March 2011, Vilnius, Lithuania

 

The OECD held an expert seminar on “Anti-Corruption Policy and Integrity Training” 23-25 March 2011 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The seminar aimed at fostering exchange of experience and good practice among public sector practitioners from Eastern Europe and Central Asia and other regions, including sharing experience with OECD countries.

 

The topics of the seminar included:

  • Effective Anti-Corruption Policies:
    • Development of anti-corruption policies, involving key players, using surveys and other available evidence;
    • Coordination and monitoring of implementation, including impact monitoring and use of indicators;
    • Public participation in development, implementation and monitoring of anti-corruption policies.
       
  • Anti-Corruption and Integrity Training and Public Awareness Raising:
    • Guidance for managers of public institutions to ensure integrity in their institutions;
    • Effective integrity training for public officials and targeted training for risk groups;
    • Planning and conducting education and awareness raising activities for various groups of citizens and businessmen
