Susan F. Stone is a Senior Research Fellow at the Asian Development Bank’s research Institute, ADBI. 

 

Her work there involves conducting policy-relevant research in support of ADB’s long term strategic goals, particularly the impact of infrastructure investment on regional development.

 

Prior to joining ADBI, she was a Research Manager for the Productivity Commission in Melbourne, Australia; the government’s primary microeconomic policy advisory body.

 

Stone also has worked as a research economist at the National Centre for Environmental Economics, US Environmental Protection Agency as well as the US Department of Defense.

 

She has held appointments and lectured at various universities in the US and Australia. Stone holds a Ph.D. in economics, with a concentration in finance, from Drexel University in the United States.
