Opening of the MCM by the Chair and Adoption of the Agenda

The Ministerial Council Meeting was formally open with remarks by the MCM Chair, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Mr. Anders Samuelsen, and by the adoption of the agenda.

Presentation and Discussion of the Secretary-General’s Strategic Orientations

The Secretary-General presented his Strategic Orientations. He highlighted how the OECD, by enhancing its work in several strategic areas and by putting people well-being at the centre of public policies and international cooperation, can help governments build a more inclusive globalisation.
