Applying design methods to public services can help to develop a better understanding of user needs and how services can be created to match them. Some parts of design, such as prototyping offer the public sector quick, agile ways to test new solutions while containing risk. This workshop will look at the role that design and prototyping can play in developing more innovative public services, providing participants with a taste of how they can be used practically in their own work.
