    Navigating a sea of interests : policy evaluation of Dutch foreign human rights policy 2008-2013

    The Netherlands is an important player in the field of human rights in multilateral forums and in the framework of the EU. Applying a variety of instruments, the Netherlands has contributed to the promotion of human rights. Results include the adoption of UN resolutions and EU Council decisions. A critical note can be made with regard to the degree of coherence between foreign human rights policy and economic policy.

    Evaluation of the French Universities in Moscou and Saint-Petersbourg.

    The French University of Moscou and Saint-Petersbourg have been created by the French Ministry of Foreing Affairs and European during the Perestroïka (1991 and 1992) following an idea from Marek Halter and Andreï Sakharov to allow the dissemination of the French intellectual thinking. This evaluation was conducted to assess today’s coherence in order to assure the college development and perenisation.

    “Thales/MAEE” is a scholarships programme co-financed within the framework of a parternship between Thales, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europeans, and some higher educational organizations. Evaluation officers dresses a positif report of this programme, entirely relevant and coherent with the policy of attractiveness and training of foreign elites, initiated by the Ministry of Forein Affairs and Europeans in the BRIC countries.
