    Evaluation of Norwegian Multilateral Support to Basic Education

    The evaluation assesses Norwegian multilateral support to basic education through UNICEF and the Global Partnership for Education. It looks at development aid effectiveness, aid management and financing of education in: Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Haiti, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nepal and Zambia. The emphasis was put on three education goals: quality of learning, gender and inclusion of marginalised groups.

    Evaluation of the Responsible and Accountable Garment Sector Programme

    The Responsible and Accountable Garment Sector Challenge Fund (RAGS) was designed by DFID to support projects aimed at improving conditions of vulnerable workers in the ready-made garment production sector. RAGS supported 12 projects in four countries, India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Lesotho, by providing matching grants to organisations concerned with labour conditions in the garment sector in developing countries.

    Ex-Post Evaluation Report on the Project for Establishing Government Integrated Data Center in Nepal

    Since official development assistance on Nepal regarding various e‐Government projects is increasing, KOICA will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of these projects ex‐post evaluation. Also, KOICA supported a project in implementing a Government Integrated Data Center in Nepal (2007‐2009).

    Evaluation of the Commission of the European Union’s Cooperation with Nepal Volume 2 – Annexes

    The European Commission support has helped to ensure fair and transparent elections of the Constituent Assembly, which has resulted in a strengthening of democracy in the country. The European Commission has directly contributed to expanding the outreach of human rights monitoring in the country and, to some extent, to the reduction of human rights violations and discrimination against women and vulnerable people.

    Evaluation of DFID’s International Citizens’ Service (ICS)- Pilot Programme

    The 18-month pilot programme, International Citizen Service (ICS) supported young British citizens to contribute to development through international volunteering and generated knowledge to inform future youth volunteering programmes. The ICS pilot programme was both innovative and highly ambitious in seeking to demonstrate and understand how diverse cohorts of young volunteers can achieve development impacts.
