    Partnership for Growth - El Salvador mid-term evaluation

    The evaluation analyzes whether the Partnership for Growth (PFG) process demonstrates improvements over pre-PFG assistance approaches. In general, the evaluation team found that PFG has aided in positive movement of policy reforms in El Salvador. The initial PFG planning laid a good foundation for implementing the overall initiative. Additionally, PFG increased leverage for implementing USG development activities in El Salvador.

    Evaluation of DFID’s International Citizens’ Service (ICS)- Pilot Programme

    The 18-month pilot programme, International Citizen Service (ICS) supported young British citizens to contribute to development through international volunteering and generated knowledge to inform future youth volunteering programmes. The ICS pilot programme was both innovative and highly ambitious in seeking to demonstrate and understand how diverse cohorts of young volunteers can achieve development impacts.

    Measuring Results of the El Salvador Production and Business Services Investments

    In dairy, the evaluation estimates there were impacts on adoption and increases in farm income. In horticulture, the evaluation estimates impacts on adoption, but no impacts on farm income. In handicrafts, the evaluation estimates impacts on employment for program participants, but no impacts were detected on productive income.
