On 3-5 July 2018, the OECD hosted the Plenary Meeting of the Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (ACN). The meeting convened anti-corruption decision-makers from countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, countries of the OECD Working Group on Bribery, and representatives from international organisations and civil society. 19th Istanbul Anti-Corruption Action Plan Meeting: 3-4 July 2018 Fourth Round Monitoring reports on Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine (sector evaluation) as well as progress reports on Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan were presented for discussion and adoption. 23rd ACN Steering Group Meeting: 5 July 2018 This meeting featured a presentation and discussion of: ACN thematic studies on the Prevention of Corruption at Local Level, and Confiscation and Independence of Prosecutors; updates on the implementation of the fundraising strategy as well as the implementation of the ACN Work Programme in 2018; and the discussions on the plans for the future work programme. It also included a tour de table on anti-corruption reforms in selected sectors and topical updates from other OECD Directorates and international organisations. |
