Webinar Series on COVID-19 and Inequality

COVID-19 is reshaping our world and affecting people’s well-being in many ways. The crisis is also drawing attention on the socio-economic divides fracturing our societies, and deepening these divides by hitting the most vulnerable hardest. Shedding light on the relationship between COVID-19 and inequality will be critical to help countries ensure that people’s well-being remain at the hearth of their recovery strategies.

To better understand this relationship, the OECD Centre on Well-being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity (WISE), in collaboration with the Employment, Labour and Social Affairs Directorate, and other OECD Directorates, organised a series of webinars that aimed to explore the evidence base and carve a comprehensive overview of the COVID-inequality nexus in a number of areas including: income, spatial inequality, ethnicity and migration, labour, gender, child and education, mental health, environment and more.
