Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Washington, DC from 16 to 20 April 2015 to attend the 2015 Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, as well as the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meetings.
In Washington, the Secretary-General held meetings with several high level officials from the United States and from other countries.
Mr. Gurría also presented the joint OECD-IDB-WB report Pensions at a Glance: Latin America and Caribbean and launched the OECD Scoreboard on Financing SMEs and Entrepreneurs 2015 alongside Mr. Ali Babacan, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey.
The Secretary-General also delivered remarks on the OECD’s role in global economic governance at the Executive Council on Global Diplomacy and gave a keynote speech on inclusive growth at the Brookings Institution.
