The Second edition of the PP4D Report unpacks data from 205 large philanthropic organisations from 32 countries, who jointly provided financing towards development for USD 42.5 billion between 2016-19. The report shows how the financing is distributed geographically and by thematic areas, and shows how philanthropy compares to official development assistance (ODA).

Domestic philanthropic giving in India estimates sectoral and geographic allocation of gender-related philanthropic and CSR giving in India between 2016-19. Financing from 183 large organisations amounted to USD 542 million, mainly devoted to family planning, reproductive health care and women’s rights organisations, but some resources are not allocated to the states with the highest needs.
