netFWD has played an active role in the  transition to the post-2015 development agenda and piloted  deep reflections on how philanthropy can best contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Towards this, netFWD  organised high-level side-events during the major international conferences that led to the adoption of the SDGs, including an event at the Third Conference on Financing for Development (July 2015) and a workshop during the 2015 United Nations Sustainable Development Summit (September 2015).

netFWD is also active  with the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation. Not only has it been instrumental in ensuring foundations are represented in the partnership’s  Steering-Committee, but also provides philanthropy’s representatives with secretariat support.
