On 8 June 2020, the Honourable Ivane Matchavariani, Minister of Finance of Georgia, committed to implement the international standard on automatic exchange of financial account information by 2023.

First meeting of the Global Forum’s peer review group on the effective implementation of automatic exchange of tax information

The Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes (the Global Forum) held a seminar on beneficial ownership and the implementation of the international standard for the exchange of information on request on 5-9 August 2019 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The seminar was hosted by the AFIP, and attended by around 40 delegates from 8 countries. The IADB supported and participated in the seminar.
